The Dominican Republicans cruised to a 7 to 1 victory over the Dublin
Pubcrawlers at the ballpark.
Dominican took the lead for good in the 4th inning when they scored 2 runs on
2 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Torii Hunter who made the
home-town crowd a happy bunch when he doubled which was good for two runs.
Dominican had 11 hits for the game and Dublin had 6.
The win went to Mike Mussina(1-0) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. Travis
Harper was credited with his 1st save. Carlos Zambrano(0-1) absorbed the
loss. Despite taking the loss, he whiffed 9 batters in 6 and 1/3 innings.
